Bonfire Night in Eyam 2015
This was the best Bonfire Night ever! Attended by villagers from Eyam and surrounding areas, as well as hundreds of others!
A torch procession took place from the Square to the playing fields, with everyone carrying lanterns and flaming torches, singing as they followed the rat.
The rat had been made by the children of Eyam Primary School and it is now a tradition to burn it on the Bonfire.
Great food stalls, beer and mulled wine, warming you together with the heat from the huge fire. This was followed by a spectacular firework display – lots of fun was had by all!
